MMER-Systems is a team of researchers and motivated students of the Institute for Human-Machine-Communication (MMK) at the Technische Universität München (TUM). Since January 2004 we have focussed on development, implementation, and improvement of advanced machine learning methods to build systems for visual object analysis. Originally, the target application was Multi-Modal Emotion Recognition (MMER) with emphasis on face and facial expression analysis.

Thanks to many excellent and highly motivated students of Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, and Computer Science, the MMER-Systems Team is now endued with several valuable sofware Components which allow for accurate and high performance analysis of human faces.
